Best Option for Interior Walls/Panels?

Hey guys, just trying to figure out what my best course of action is going to be with getting the interior less bare. Right now its down to the studs/metal. Mine does not have any windows except for some custom port hole ones on the sides that the guy before me had in. I'm guessing I am going to hav...

Re: What have you done to your Econoline today

I was finally able to drive my van after 6 months of owning it. The trans still drips a little fluid here and there and the suspension is crap, but I love it. I guess a disclaimer I also drove it about 30 miles a couple months ago, but I was leaving a nice trail of power steering fluid behind me. Th...

Manual Steering Pitman/Steering Arm

Hey guys, just wanted to see on the forum if any one that has converted from manual to power steering still has one of the manual pitman/steering arms laying around. It's the one that goes off the steering box and connects to the ~13" center drag link. I reached out to a couple of part pullers ...

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

That was the one I bought haha, so I have the idler arm. Good. Guess I’m too damn sick to read well. :( Actual part number for the pittman arm is C8TZ 3590B but it’s stamped as C8UA 3590-C pitman arms different.jpg See ‘E SERIES’ here: http://www.fordification.com/mpc/sec30/sec35/sec35_29.ht...

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

The Bronco ones seem to be about the closest I can find, but probably wont fit at all. Probably just going to call up a machine shop when the center ~13" drag link comes in and have them make a new one or fix the hole. https://shop.broncograveyard.com/Pitman-Arm-New/productinfo/22822/?gclid=Cj0...

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

Thanks Tom and FlyingV for the info. Whenever I get the rest of my parts I can confirm what fits where and what doesn't. Also, before I post something in the parts wanted, do either of you know where I can get a manual pittman arm? I would rather get one than take mine to a machine shop like FlyingV...

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

Well I think I know more about the steering now that I ever thought I would. Thanks Tom and FlyingV for all the info and help. Starting to accumulate all the parts I need and will update whenever I start to put everything in.

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

Also, how hard is it to convert to manual? And what parts would I need? Aside from an E100 - E200 manual steering box with the attached steering arm you will need the the E100 - E200 manual idler arm & the E100 - E200 manual drag link that goes between steering box arm & the idler arm. Do n...

Re: Tie Rods and/or Power Steering Parts

I can find the manual steering box and the 13.89 drag link, but not sure what else I need after that...

But I think I am definitely going to go the manual route as long as I can find the parts.
