New to Vannin

Postby Grimm Vanner » January 7th, 2018, 6:08 pm

Hello everyone, just taking a minute to introduce myself.

I live in Northern AZ, currently a student (aging) working towards a BS in Electronics Engineering. Been around and have owned several old Fords in my life so far, but this is my first van. Which is a 1972 E200 Supervan 302 w/ auto, that was a DSO and looks to be a period conversion van with mural. in the month I have owned it so far I have already spent two weeks camping in it, and I really enjoy this thing so far. Here are a few pictures of the van from my recent trip.

That's what I call an introductory post - pics of the van, (nice!), location identified, perfect. Welcome aboard Grimm!

Hey thanks, if all goes well in a year or so I will be back up in Washington state for more schooling, and I plan on heading up near where you are for more exploring.

Well, I'm always looking for an excuse to take our vans to the mountains. Doing some convoy camping while showing off my favourite sights would certainly qualify.

I guess I wanna do the Touristy thing go to Banff and Jasper, then cruise some two lanes towards Vancouver, make a big loop out of it.

I'm in, but recommend waiting until June! It's crazy cold right now. Banff-Jasper-Kamloops-Vancouver is a great route. You can even hit Drumheller on the way north if you have time.
